One word describes Nicki Minaj lately, GRACEFUL.

Nicki Minaj has been explosive lately, her new album “The Pinkprint” is EVERYTHING, Incase you all haven’t heard. However, aside from all of that, Nicki has been on “awholenother” level lately, and I’m so digging it. The new look, the new persona, the new Nicki is oh so graceful, and I absolutely LOVE IT!

Clearly, I am not the only one who feels this way; Roberto Cavalli announced Nicki as the face of its 2015 ad campaign, dope right? Cavalli said, “I chose Nicki Minaj because she embodies the exuberant and modern femininity of the Cavalli woman,” he told WWD, “I wanted a sensual woman who is aware of her body, who is not afraid to show her curves—rather, she turns them into her strength.” And that is exactly what Nicki Minaj has done over the years.

So how can I call Nicki Minaj, graceful, you ask? Cavalli hit the nail on the head, Nicki can’t help that she’s sexy, no doubt, she’s Nicki Minaj; but at the same time, she embodies a woman who is a Girl Boss, she’s powerful, and she’s fierce. Nicki is confident about who she is, and she proud of her femininity, I love it! Expect to be seeing Nicki in Cavalli ads come January!

Who: Beyoncé | What: STYLE | When: On The Run Tour..

Hey guys! It’s been awhile, my apologies, I’ve had tons of deadlines to meet lately, so I’ve been a little busy.. HOWEVER, I did make time to check out the looks from the On The Run Tour, and of course, I approve!! Honestly, I love all things Beyoncé — typical. Bey is such an individual, and that’s one of the things I love most about her.., her style is hers alone, and it works for her!

Beyoncé is always in the best costumes for her performances, all three looks work for her, but my personal fave is the printed one piece. I’m a sucker for colors and prints! Although I would’ve chose a different headpiece, I totally approve of this look!

Jay Z is one of my personal faves when it comes to men’s fashion. A lot of men have adopted the habit of doing TOO much with fashion, and their appearance, which is the biggest turn off for me. Jay is different, his style is classic.

Side Note: I love how they stick together, the love and support that they display for one another surpasses the norm. That’s something to look forward to, and hold on to forever.. Think Like A Man Too

LaLa Anthony and Megan Good were looking exceptionally HOT at the Think Like A Man Too LA movie premiere!

Lala Anthony took on a more sexy approach in an extremely revealing black Alexander McQueen gown. The keyhole bodice and double high leg splits screamed sexy, while the high neckline served class; not to mention the details, the details are all in the accessories. Lala’s matching belt and neckline, provided for the perfect finishing touch..

Megan Good chose a more sweet and subtle look, however, still sexy. Ms. Good wore a sheer flowing white Michael Costello gown. I love how elegant this dress is; when you wear white the right way, you don’t need many accessories, so her oversized ring and small clutch served it’s purpose.

I love both of these looks, but Megan’s is my fave. I am thinking of recreating them, what do you guys think? I approve! ✔️

I loved this printed, flowing number on her, it’s definitely in season for summer, and it suited her perfectly. I don’t think Carrie’s ever done it like this, but I love this look! This is Style Striking behavior! I approve.. ✔️

Rihanna is giving me 1920’s Flapper with this look, and it suits her perfect if that’s what she was going for. BadGalRiri is the perfect example of the modern day Flapper! It’s no doubt that she’s a certified Fashion Killa, so I wasn’t surprised when CFDA nominated her as Fashion Icon of the year!

There is no higher religion than the truth..

Everything that’s anything will be seen and learned in time.., and that’s God, that’s life, and that’s my peace. I’ve never been one to explain or campaign.. It’s something that you have to just get, and if you don’t, you just won’t.. If that makes sense..lol The most important thing though, is to be true to yourself, live in your truth, and you’ll never have to stress the complications. This is extremely important because people will persecute you in life, and you have to be able to walk through it, to drown out the noises, and stay committed to your inner voice. I only have 22 years of life experience, but in those years I’ve learned that if you’re lucky, you’ll have a few people who are genuine with you, and everything else is just noise, simply noise.. Think about.. I read the most amazing quote from Ralph Ellison, and it goes as follows: “All my life I had been looking for something, and everywhere I turned someone tried to tell me what it was. I accepted their answers too, though they were often in contradiction and even self-contradictory. I was naive. I was looking for myself and asking everyone except myself questions which I, and only I, could answer. It took me a long time and much painful boomeranging of my expectations to achieve a realization everyone else appears to have been born with: That I am nobody but myself.” Read it until you get an understanding. A woman who was truly brilliant, and beautiful, and amazing.. Her legacy will forever live on.. She was concrete and meaningful in life, and she left a genuine mark on the lives of others.. Her words were inspiring to both her fans and those who had the privilege of knowing her personally. Maya Angelou was a true blessing in life, and I’m grateful that her ability to make others feel will live on for years. The only suitable WCW for today, RIP Maya Angelou.

Love & Hip Hop Atlanta

This show has been on for a while, but tonight’s episode really bothered me. It’s so sad how degrading women are to themselves, and in addition how badly men degrade them. The cheating, the disrespect, the vulnerability, oh my gosh, it all makes my head hurt. Majority of women truly believe that all men cheat, which doesn’t mean all men cheat, but more so, majority of women accept cheating. However, here’s my question, how can you accept something that’s “not okay” in your eyes?
